Police officers deny Anambra Honorable members access to the state assemblies complex
Police officers from the Anambra State Police Command on Friday stormed and sealed off the entire Anambra State House of Assembly complex, denying lawmakers, journalist and other visitors entry into the complex.
It was gathered that members of the house that sought to gain entry into the premises and access their offices were denied access by police officers who insisted they had “orders from above” not to let anyone in.
“We have an order from above not to allow anyone inside the premises” officer said.
The cause for this action by these officers is what kept everyone perturbed.
However it was filed that the action might be connected to an attempt by some members of the house to remove Hon. Rita Maduagwu, the honorable speaker Anambra state.
